[music |The Pursuit of Happyne]

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
- Dylan Thomas

And how to turn a ponytail into a classic bun. I think it's cool. :) A little messier then I would have thought.

This has been a favorite of mine off and on through the years. Yay!

The video was interesting. A little messier than I'd like, but to each her own!

Good!

And I thought this might be of some interest, since you seem to be as eclectic as I am, at least!

I love that! I asked her if I could borrow it, because I'd love to post that.

How incredibly weird...I almost posted that poem last night. I had it all entered and then decided on the modified Byron instead.

And my hair is way too short to make a bun. I can't even imagine having that much hair. It seems like it would get in the way all the time.

I saw not two, but THREE of my posters post it over the past couple weeks and figured there was a reason I was seeing it everywhere and figured it was time to send it through the interwebz myself. :)

It does.

Synchronicity, I guess. It is a beautiful poem, and that one line has really helped me out a few times...the "rage against the dying of the light" thing. So powerful.

It looks like he's just spraying hairspray for the hell of it. Like hey maybe if I do that I'll look more professional.

Yay! Dylan Thomas! Love the guy! And you've chosen my utmost favourite poem of his! 'Rage, rage against the dying of the light', is definitely my favourite line of the whole poem! :)

Loved his Under Milk Wood, the radio play that was played after he died, have you heard of it?
